spring knits

Hi hi! Although we are still getting blasted with snow and cold weather in the Chicagoland area, I have spring on the mind. I am definitely over thick winter knits, dark dreary colors and bundled layers. Over the past few days,  I have been dying to tuck away all of my winter gear and pull out my spring and summer staples: swingy, bright tanks, floral sundresses and cut-off shorts. Unfortunately, this lovely midwestern weather won't quite allow it. In order to brighten and freshen up my wardrobe in preparation for spring, but still keep warm during this transitional period, I picked up a few cheery knits. These pieces definitely scream "spring" in their color palette, yet are still chunky enough to be appropriate for this transitional March weather. Details after the jump!

From left to right: mint and cream marled sweater from Old Navy, purchase here; coral sweater with v-shaped open knit panel from Ruby Moon, purchased at T.J. Maxx; cream sweater with open knit kangaroo pouch and sleeves from the Bethany Mota collection for Aeropostale, purchase here.

What are you doing to prepare for spring?
