Oh, hello there! Today I am checking in to share a recent project I completed for our apartment. Check it out after the jump!
Our apartment was in desperate need of a full length mirror, so I was on the hunt for something unique and inexpensive. I was shocked at how pricey mirrors are, and the ones that were in my price range looked flimsy and cheap. While I was browsing Ikea one day, I came across the Honefoss mirror and was immediately inspired. When you buy the mirror, you get a ten-pack that contains 5 silver toned and 5 gold toned mini hexagon mirrors that you can arrange in any way that you want. There are literally endless possibilities! The best part is that each pack is only $14.99 and the adhesives are included. To complete my project, I needed 2 packs which means that I only spent about $30 on the entire thing. Not bad!
As for installation: there are 4 adhesives per mirror and they are VERY sticky so be careful. I highly recommend that you plan your pattern and measure everything out before-hand because if you make a mistake, it is extremely hard to remove and re-do (I know from experience). The only down-side to this product is that it will be a pain to take down when we move.
